Victoria's health system has fallen down under as covid-19 cases begin to rise higher each day. Hospital's and health workers have fallen under a huge amount of pressure trying to keep up with each patient day by day. "What these figures tell us is that our hospital system, our ambulance system, continues to be under significant pressure from COVID-19," Health Minister Martin Foley said. The pressure on hospitals leaded to calling out a code 'red' meaning that no ambulances were being sent out to homes for. This occurred in Victoria on Sunday the 10th July and was called out just before 2am. This code red ran for approximately 90 minutes."Despite the significant pressures that our paramedics and our healthcare workers continued to deliver care to the most seriously unwell in really challenging circumstances," Mr Foley said.
