Djokovic to play in AUS open

It has been released to the media that worldwide tennis champion Novak Djokovic is wanting to return to Melbourne in order to compete in the upcoming AUS open. This year, Djokovic's visa was cancelled by authorities due to being a anti-vaxxer, and not wanting to receive the covid-19 vaccine. It was compulsory for everybody to be fully vaccinated against covid-19 in order to enter the state, however Djokovic was given an exemption against this, and many fans become very agitated on this situation. This ban of not entering Melbourne for Novak Djokovic was set to be for 3 years, however now it is believed that the Albanese government is open to granting him a visa so that he can compete at the AUS open taking place in January, 2023. Former home affairs minister Karen Andrews has released a statement to the press expressing her opinion saying that is the ban on the visa was set to be changed for Djokovic, that it should also be reconsidered for others in the same circumstance. Loads of reporters have said that they would rather have Djokovic being allowed into the state rather than anyone else as fans would be most excited to see the Serbian tennis player play considering the fact he has one nine Australian Opens. Australian open director Mr Tilly said, "I know he'd like to return to the Australian Open. His the nine-time champion and of course we always want the best players in the world to compete".
