Olivia Newton John born September 26th, 1948, was a British-born Australian singer, actress and activist. Olivia was born in Cambridge, United States, however lived most her life in Melbourne, than to America, where she had one daughter, Chloe Rose Lattanzi. Olivia was a four-time Granny award winner who stared in many movies/films such as Grease, and Glee, and she also had created and released many music and albums of her own.
Olivia Newton John was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, not long after the death of her father. Her breast cancer then dissaperared and when it came back in 2013, her older sister, Rona had just died. Olivia only found out about her cancer recurrence when she was involved in a car accident in 2013. In 2017, she then had to cancel multiple tour dates of her own due to severe back pain and this was discovered in May 2017 when her cancer had yet again returned. Olivia Newton John passed away peacefully at her California home on the 8th August 2022, at the age of 73. She was a inspiration and a light on many people's lives. Newton-John was also most known for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre located at the Austin hospital in Melbourne, where she raised all of the fundings to build this hospital to help those going through the same battle of cancer as her. This hospital opened in 2012.
